Redbird Volleyball to Host Free Kids Clinic

Prior to the Missouri Valley Conference match against Northern Iowa, the Illinois State volleyball team and the Redbird coaching staff will continue their community outreach by offering a free children's clinic at Redbird Arena Saturday, Oct. 10.
The clinic is open to kids, ages 12 and under and of all skill sets. Each participant will learn how to pass, set and hit just like their favorite Redbird volleyball players. The attendees are asked to wear active clothes and clean gym shoes and are advised to bring a water bottle. A register and waiver form is also available on GoRedbirds.com, and parents are asked to print off and complete the form prior to registration.
Registration for the event begins at 2:45 p.m., at the north entrance of Redbird Arena, while the clinic will be held on Doug Collins Court from 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Following the clinic, until the Illinois State-Northern Iowa match begins at 7 p.m., the participants will receive free pizza, participate in other fun activities and receive a free admission to the Redbird match.
Parents are welcome to stay for the clinic and post-clinic activities, but dinner will only be provided for the clinic participants.
In addition, at the completion of the Illinois State-Northern Iowa volleyball match, an autograph session will the entire Redbird volleyball team will take place along the north-end tables off the floor.
