GoRedbirds: MTV or VH1?
Katie Seyller: MTV
GR: From high school to college what are you looking forward to the most?
KS: Definitely living by myself, playing on a collegiate level for volleyball, and meeting new friends.
GR: Adam Sandler or Jim Carrey?
KS: Jim Carrey
GR: What is one thing you can't leave home without?
KS: My cell phone.
GR: One place you would love to visit?
KS: The Bahamas
GR: What are your goals for yourself this season?
KS: Earning playing time and practicing really hard to show the team I can play as a freshman, also when I'm playing of course succeeding and showing my teammates that I can contribute.
GR: What is currently playing on your iPod player right now?
KS: Everything. Country, rap, rock, I like it all.
GR: So what do you think it will be like being able to stay in your hometown and still continue to play volleyball in college?
KS: Well, I've gone to a lot of the volleyball games and I've always liked it here, because it's such a great community to play in, there's so many fans and it feels so comfortable to me. Having my family here with me at the games will be great.
GR: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
KS: Honestly, I see my self here still. I love this town.
GR: Who has had the biggest influence on you so far in your career?
KS: My parents, they've always pushed me to do my best and succeed.
GR: Jimmy Johns or Subway?
GR: What is it like having your younger sister play volleyball too?
KS: Well, she will be a freshman in high school so we are somewhat similar in playing levels. I like playing with her because she understands where I'm coming from. When I get frustrated or she gets frustrated we can talk about things and we always know what one the other is talking about, so it's nice.
GR: As a Raider, who was your biggest intercity high school rival?
KS: Normal Community
GR: Breakfast, lunch, or dinner...which one is your favorite meal of the day?
