Ashley Moore was named the Illinois State assistant volleyball coach in March 2012. Moore most recently served as the Illinois State as the director of volleyball operations during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
As the director of operations she worked extensively with team travel arrangements, expense reports, and practice planning. She assisted in carrying out gameday activities, organizing recruiting visits and serving the needs of players and coaches.
Moore was a four-year letterwinner for California University (Pa.) playing two years for head coach Melissa Myers, and was a two-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete selection. She helped the Vulcans, to a 141-19 overall record and three-straight PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Region Championships, competing in three NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances.
Moore earned her bachelor's degree in business from California University (Pa.) in December 2009 and completed her master's degree in business administration at Illinois State in December 2011. Moore is a member of the Alliance of Women Coaches.
