The loss to the Flames also marks the first loss at home for the Redbirds this season who are now 3-1 at the Racquet Club this year

The team's momentum seemed to disappear on opening day but, Carolina Abello and Heather Nisbet were able to give the Redbirds a big lift with each picking up solid wins in both singles doubles play early in the competition.
