Redbirds Fall to Salukis In Last MVC Match Of The Season

The Illinois State women's tennis team fell to Missouri Valley Conference foe Southern Illinois, 5-2, in its last spring match of the season. The Redbirds ended the 2013 spring season with an overall record of 9-9 and 2-4 in the MVC.

2012-13/freshman at Illinois State: Posted an 18-14 over all score in singles play... 6-3 overall score in doubles play with partner Emmie Marx.

Prior to ISU: Attended the Audentes Sports Gymnasium,Tallinn Estonia...multiple time Estonian junior champion in singles, doubles and mixed doubles...runner-up in the Estonian national championships in 2011...semi-finalist in the Estonian national championships in 2010 and 2008...represented Estonia in the European junior championships multiple times in age groups 14, 16, and 18.

Personal: Born March 23, 1993...daughter of Toomas and Piret Ilves...has one sister Kaidi Ilves who is 22 years old...majoring in renewable energy at Illinois State.
