Abello only has one loss to a conference opponent during both the fall and spring this season and also won a MVC Individuals championship during the fall.
The win at Evansville is important for the Redbirds who are just 4-9 on the road this season. The team is also coming off a tough loss to Southern Illinois on Saturday, 6-1.
