Angie Rawlins, a 2003 Illinois State Graduate, will return for her second year as a graduate assistant. Rawlins, a former Redbird student-athlete, holds the 200-breaststroke record at ISU.
Rawlins returned to Illinois State last year after working as an Exercise Physiologist in Chico, Calif. While working with the swimmers, Rawlins will also pursue a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Recreation.
Even after a year as the graduate assistant for the swimming program, Rawlins is looking forward to another season with the Redbirds.
"I'm very excited for this season," said Rawlins. "We have a talented group to lead our team in our senior class as well as an incoming freshman class with strong potential."
