NORMAL, Ill. – After sweeping Northern Iowa this past weekend and being the sole undefeated team in Missouri Valley Conference play, the Illinois State softball team will look to keep its winning streak alive as it continues MVC play against Indiana State. The Redbirds and the Sycamores will face off in a mid-week doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at the Eleanor Forsythe St. John Softball Complex in Terre Haute, Ind. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. (CST).

Indiana State (11-7, 1-7 MVC) heads into Tuesday’s doubleheader after defeating conference foe Evansville, 4-2, for its first conference win of the season Saturday. The Sycamores are led by Alyssa Doyle, who is batting a .289 and leads the team with 16 runs and 26 hits
