Tejada notched her 11th multi-point performance of the season, scoring a goal and recording an assist in the Redbirds' 2-1 victory at Drake, Oct. 25. The sophomore scored her league-leading 15th goal of the season by heading home a service from Kyla Cross in the sixth minute to put the Redbirds up 1-0. Tejada also assisted on Anna Stinson's game-winning goal in the 59th minute, as she played in Stinson behind the Drake defense from midfield. The assist was her league-leading eighth of the season, leaving her one shy of matching her career-high of nine.
Tejada ranks top-10 nationally this season in goals (ninth w/ 15), goals per game (eighth w/ 0.882), points (eighth w/ 38) and points per game (seventh w/ 2.24). Throughout the season, Tejada has moved into second place on the program's all-time lists for points (89), goals (36) and assists (17).
As a freshman in 2011, Tejada scored 21 goals, while tallying nine assists on her way to being named the conference's player and freshman of the year. Tejada earned weekly accolades from the conference seven times last season, giving her 11 total throughout her career.
