The Illinois women's soccer team took on the Northern Iowa Panther at home on Wednesday October 10, 2012
2012: Appeared in 18 games, with 10 starts, including the final six of the season...was third on the team in goals (four) and points (11)...second in the Valley among freshman in goals and points...had two five-point performances (two goals, one assist)...first came against Florida Atlantic (Aug. 24)...was held pointless until achieving the feat again against Indiana State (Oct. 14)...tallied an assist in the MVC Tournament semifinal win over Creighton (Nov. 2)...13 of 19 shots taken came on goal.
Prior to ISU: Four-year letterwinner at United Township High School for head coach Phil Weaver...Earned all-state, Metro All Star and first-team all conference honors with 25 goals and 9 assists as a senior...Team MVP...All-state special mention, first-team all conference as a basketball player...first-team all-conference, all-sectional, Metro All-Star Team, Quad City Times All-Area honorable mention selection as a junior...scored 16 goals and recorded eight assists...scored 16 goals and tallied five assists to earn first-team all-conference, all-sectional, Metro All-Star Team and Quad City Times All-Area honorable mention as a sophomore...earned first-team all-conference and Metro All-Star Team accolades as a freshman after scoring seven goals and recording five assists...member of EMSSC Hurricanes club team.
Personal: Born November 18, 1993...daughter of the late David Van Deventer and Jenny Van Deventer-Pancrazio, stepfather is Patrick Pancrazio...has four siblings, Nick, Brett, Blake and Allison...plans to major in elementary education.
