Illinois State's historic season ended with a 3-0 loss at third-seeded and 11th-ranked Michigan, Friday in Ann Arbor.


Illinois State at Louisville

ISU became the first MVC team to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, moving past UofL in PKs.

The Redbirds clinched their third-straight MVC Tournament title with a 5-0 win against Indiana State.


MVC Soccer Awards Banquet

Three ISU soccer players earned individual awards, while nine were named All-Valley, at the annual MVC Awards Banquet.

Career Achievements: Three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference performer (First Team in 2013, Honorable Mention in 2012, Second Team in 2011)...two-time Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V selection, including first-team honors in 2012...two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete Team choice (2013, 2012)...left the program ranked third all-time in assists (20) and fourth all-time in points (66) and goals (23)...also exited as the program's all-time leader with 79 games played.

Senior (2013): Notable...All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team...Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V Second Team...MVC Scholar-Athlete Team...MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week (Aug. 28)...Season...started all 22 games at forward...registered 21 points on six goals and a career-high nine assists...scored two goals in the season-opening victory over Miami (Ohio) (Aug. 23)...assisted on ISU's lone goal against Wisconsin (Aug. 25)...tallied assists in three-straight games against Texas (Sept. 8), SEMO (Sept. 15) and No. 22 Marquette (Sept. 17)...recorded three points on a goal and an assist in the win at Northern Iowa (Oct. 17), which began a five-game points streak...scored a goal against Evansville (Oct. 20)...netted the game-winner at Missouri State (Oct. 31)...tallied an assist in the MVC Tournament semifinal victory over Evansville (Nov. 8)...scored a goal in the MVC Tournament championship match victory over Indiana State (Nov. 10)...converted a penalty kick during the shootout that advanced ISU past Louisville in the NCAA Tournament first round matchup (Nov. 16).

Junior (2012): Notable...All-Missouri Valley Conference Honorable Mention...Capital One Academic All-District V First Team...MVC Scholar-Athlete Team...became the first player in program-history to score four goals in one game against Indiana State (Oct. 14) of just nine players nationally to score at least four goals in one game...Season...appeared in all 20 matches, including 17 starts...finished second in the league and on the team in goals (eight) and points (19)...tallied three points with a goal and assist against Florida Atlantic (Aug. 24)...scored her fifth-career MVC Tournament goal in the title match against Indiana State (Nov. 4)...also found the back of the net at Bowling Green (Sept. 14) and against Green Bay (Sept. 23).

Sophomore (2011): Notable...Missouri Valley Conference Tournament MVP...All-MVC Second-Team...MVC All-Tournament Soccer News Player of the Week (Nov. 9)...Season...made 19 appearances and started the final 17 games of the season...finished second on the team with eight goals and third with 22 points...netted a pair of goals against Bowling Green (Aug. 21), against Evansville in the semifinal of the MVC Tournament (Nov. 4) and against Missouri State in the championship match of the State Farm MVC Tournament (Nov. 6)...racked up eight points on four goals in two matches to earn MVC Tournament MVP honors.

Freshman (2010): Season...started all 18 games, recording four points on a goal and two assists...netted her first collegiate goal in ISU's 2-1 victory at SIU Edwardsville (Oct. 20)...tallied assists in back-to-back games against Kansas (Sept. 5) and at Northern Illinois (Sept. 10).

Bishop Foley/Vardar: Four-year starter at and two-year captain at Bishop Foley ... led her team to two state finals (2008, 2009) ... named All-State(2009, 2008, 2007), All-District (2009, 2008, 2007), All-Catholic (2009, 2008), All-Region (2009, 2008, 2007), All-County (2009, 2008) and All-Academic (2009) ... voted Player of the Year by the Daily Tribune (2009) ... member of the Vardar Soccer Club (six-time state champions) ... 2010 State Cup Tournament MVP ... team won the Michigan State Cup Finals in 2009 and 2010 ... scored the only goals in the championship games both years ... started on high school varsity basketball team junior year and was team captain senior year ... member of the National Honor Society and held Honors for all four years of high school.
