The Redbirds clinched their third-straight MVC Tournament title with a 5-0 win against Indiana State.


MVC Soccer Awards Banquet

Three ISU soccer players earned individual awards, while nine were named All-Valley, at the annual MVC Awards Banquet.

Career Achievements: All-Missouri Valley Conference Honorable Mention choice (2013)...MVC All-Freshman Team selection (2011).

Junior (2013): Notable...All-Missouri Valley Conference Honorable Mention selection...MVC Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 1)...Season...started in all 22 matches, playing a team-high 1,987 of a possible 2,000 minutes...anchored an ISU defensive unit that surrendered 1.45 goals per game, tallied seven shutouts and allowed only two goals in MVC play...also contributed offensively, registering a career-high five assists...recorded assists in three-straight games from Sept. 13-17, including victories over SEMO (Sept. 13), No. 22 Marquette (Sept. 15) and Saint Louis (Sept. 17)...also picked up helpers in wins over Loyola (Oct. 13) and Evansville (Oct. 20)...fired three shots and two shots on goal throughout the course of the season.

Sophomore (2012): Season...started all 20 matches, playing the second-most minutes on the team with 1,726...key member of a Redbird defense that that allowed 1.30 goals per game and recorded five shutouts...recorded first-career point with an assist at Creighton (Sept. 29)...fired career-high four shots on goal throughout the season.

Freshman (2011): Notable...Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team...Season...appeared in 19 games, starting the final 10 matches of the season...played a key role on a Redbird defensive unit that posted six shutouts and limited opponents to a 1.14 goals against average...fired a career-high three shots at Western Michigan (Sept. 18).

Palatine/Eclipse Select: Played under coach Willie Filian at Palatine...named all-conference, all-sectional and special mention Northwest all-area as a senior...member of the Eclipse Select 92/93...led club team to three regional semi-final appearances and seven state cup championships..helped club team to an Elite Club National League championship...named to the Top 5 Elite Club National League in 2009 and 2010...led U-16 squad to Disney Cup Championship.

Personal: Born January 4, 1993...daughter of John and Rosario McArtor...has one sister, Raisa and a brother, John...elementary education major.
