KAMEOHE BAY, Oahu -The Illinois State women's golf team finished the final day of play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational Wednesday in Kameohe Bay, Oahu, finishing in 12th place with a team score of 949 (320-311-318).

"Once we are able to get everyone on the same page at the same time, we will be able to set ourselves a part from the competition," head coach Darby Slighsaid. "At this point in time, we can't seem to find that rhythm and its showing in our mediocre performances this spring. Hopefully, we will return to weather that will allow us to put in the time we need to make progress, because we have a lot of work to do to get where we need to be."

Katie Jean led the Redbirds throughout the tournament and finished in a tie for 28th place with a three-round score of 232 (83-72-77).
