The Redbirds find themselves in a three-way tie with Missouri Valley Conference rival Bradley and UMKC for 14th place at the Rio Verde Country Club.
This will mark the Redbirds fist return to the tournament since they competed in 2009.
Despite the outcome, head coach Darby Sligh was pleased with her team's effort and has a positive outlook toward the rest of the season.
