NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State women's basketball program and head coach Stephanie Glance signed two players to National Letters of Intent during the signing period Friday. Alexis Foley and Stekara Hall signed on to continue their athletic and academic careers at Illinois State.

Foley and Hall were recruited as guards. Illinois State will graduate one senior at the end of this season, and the two recruits will make a big impact on the Redbird roster next season.

"This is a really good class for us, and of course, we have Janae Smith, who is a transfer, but is sitting out this season per NCAA rules. So, there are three new faces for next year," Glance said. "Janae will have been here and practiced all year. She brings a strong presence inside and out. Janae is a scoring threat and strong rebounder. Alexis and Stekara are both guards and their games really complement each other. They are different type players, both having great strengths. Both of them are very good defenders, which I love. They each fill a piece of the puzzle we are looking for and will add depth to our guards."
