March 5, 2013
NORMAL, Ill. - Fans can watch Tuesday's men's and women's basketball media conferences, featuring men's basketball coach Dan Muller, women's basketball coach Stephanie Glance, and Illinois State alumnus and Vice President of Corporate Communications for 180 Communications Lee Gordon, beginning at 1 p.m., from the media room in Redbird Arena. The event will be streamed live on RedbirdHD.tv.
Gordon is on campus, March 4-5, to speak with Redbird student-athletes and coaches about proper social media use and branding of Illinois State Athletics. Over the past six years, the 180 Communications team has worked with NFL stars like Sam Bradford, Matthew Stafford, Michael Oher, Aldon Smith and many other collegiate and professional organizations. What makes their presentation unique, is the focus they put on social media, showing the athletics how easy it is to ruin their brand through Facebook and Twitter
