Live Basketball Coaches Show Set For Hewett-Manchester Residence Hall

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State Athletics department is proud to announce Redbirds Live, a live basketball radio show will take place at the Julia N. Visor Center located in the lower level of the Hewett-Manchester residence hall, Thursday, Feb. 7 from 7 to 8 p.m., as part of WZND’s 103.3 The Red Zone Sports Show.

WZND Red Zone Sports Show hosts Joe Brand and Chris Highland, will be joined by head coaches Dan Muller and Stephanie Glance, along with players from both squads. Women’s basketball interviews will run from 7 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., followed by men’s basketball to close out the show.

Free pizza will be available, while supplies last, courtesy of Papa John’s. In addition, a $100 Meijer gift card will be awarded to the residence hall floor with the most attendees. Door prizes will also be given away throughout the event.

President of the Association of Residence Halls (ARH) Chase Breeden, couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to strengthen the connection between athletics and its student body.

“The Association of Residence Halls is excited to team up with Illinois State Athletics and University Housing Services to put on this awesome program,” said Breeden. “Bringing the student-athletes and students together has been a goal that we have had since the start of the school year and we are excited to see everyone interact with one another on a personal basis. We hope to see everybody out there supporting our teams and getting to know that student-athletes.”
