Megan McCracken joined the Illinois State women's basketball and volleyball offices during the summer of 2013 as the operations associate.
McCracken joined the ISU staff after working with WHOI-TV as a multi media specialist. During her time at WHOI, McCracken managed agency, regional and local accounts. She also worked with clients to create the best marketing and advertising campaigns to help them stand out in the market. McCracken also has experience in developing and implementing the production and promotional areas of television marketing, including voiceovers and commercial work. Prior to her work at WHOI, McCracken worked as a personal trainer.
McCracken served as a marketing assistant with the Illinois State Athletic Department for a summer in 2010. She performed and maintained daily functions with the development department and managed special events throughout the department.
She served as a women's basketball graduate assistant coach at Western Illinois and was also the women's basketball assistant coach at Spring Hill College.
McCracken, a former ISU women's basketball player, graduated from ISU in 2007 with a degree in mass communications, before obtaining a Master's degree from Western Illinois in 2010 in sport management.
