NORMAL, Ill. - After playing an instrumental role in the Illinois State Athletics Marketing Department effort over the last two years, Laure Beth (LB) Nagle will have the opportunity to continue to "Spread the Red," after being named the assistant director of marketing.

"I'm excited about the opportunity and I want to thank Dr. (Sheahon) Zenger and Brad Ledford for allowing me to stay with Illinois State Athletics," Nagle said. "I'm really looking forward to the new challenges and it is going to be a great experience for me to continue my career at Illinois State."

Ledford, ISU's Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Promotions, is also looking forward to working with Nagle in a full-time capacity.

"I'm looking forward to LB continuing her time with us here at Illinois State," Ledford said. She proved to be an important part of our team as a graduate assistant, and I'm confident that her demonstrated work ethic and creativity will continue to play an integral part in our day-to-day operations."

Prior to working at ISU as a graduate assistant, Nagle served as the event management coordinator at Grand View, in Des Moines, Iowa. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Grand View in 2008, while being a four-year letterwinner in women's soccer.

While at Grand View, Nagle, a native of Nevada, Iowa, also held internships with the Iowa State Athletics Department and with the Des Moines Menace of the United Soccer League.

She received her master's degree in sport management from Illinois State in May 2010.
