Men's Tennis Adds Slovenia-Native Domiter to Spring Roster

NORMAL, Ill. - Head coach Mark Klysner announced the addition of Urh Krajnc Domiter of Ptuj, Slovenia, to the Illinois State men's tennis team Friday. This brings the total to eight players on the current Redbird roster.

Domiter has competed all around the world and was ranked as high as 708 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior world rankings. Domiter's father, was his coach growing up and has also coached many of the top juniors in Slovenia.

"I think Urh will definitely add some depth to our team and also strengthen our doubles game," Klysner said. "He has a lot of international experience, and I believe he will become a nice asset to our team."

St. John's, Frenso State and Minnesota also showed interest in landing the talented Domiter.
