Illinois State tennis has been home for Yohann Nograbat for four years as a player and will remain so in 2007-08, when he returns as an assistant coach for the Redbirds.
As a student-athlete at ISU, Nograbat found success both on and off the court. He was named to the AFNI and MVC Honor Roll's during his tenure. As a player, he was the `Birds No. 1 for both his junior and senior seasons. During his junior year, he achieved a regional ranking of No. 25 and competed in the main draw of the Central Region Championships. Nograbat also helped the Redbirds to their first ever men's tennis regular season conference title.
Nograbat ended his career at ISU with a 61-53 mark in singles and 30-31 in doubles. His 61 singles wins tie him for ninth all-time in Redbird men's tennis history.
