Brunskog Honored as Valley Player of the Week

ISU's lone senior, Brunskog is the first Redbird men's tennis player to earn player of the week honors during the 2013-14 spring season.

Jakub Eisner and Jacob Wilson advanced to the quarterfinal rounds.


Redbirds Finish Day One of The ITA-All American Championships

Rolando Torrellas lead the way for the Redbirds defeating Jonny Cornish of Virginia, 6-3, 6-0.

Posted overall records of 21-13 in singles and 8-15 in doubles... Received a national doubles ranking of 58th and a regional ranking of fourth with Alexander Pelaez... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Select Team at the MVC Championships... Defeated the No. 3 doubles team in the country with partner Alexander Pelaez at the ITA Regional Championships in October 2012.

Posted overall records of 10-19 in singles and 11-14 in doubles at UCF... Played in the No. 1 spot of singles action for UCF.

Attended the University of Central Florida where he played tennis for two years before transferring to Illinois State and joining the Redbird men's tennis team for the fall 2012 season. Also recruited by: Middle Tennessee State and Central Florida.
