NORMAL, Ill. -
The Illinois State football team returns home for the final game of the 2009 season Saturday when it faces off against No. 9 ranked Northern Iowa at Hancock Stadium. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the showdown with the Panthers and will recap last weekend's loss on the road to Youngstown State at The Brock Spack Show Thursday night live from Schooner's in Bloomington.
Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with Spack during the hour-long show beginning at 6 p.m. and will also talk with freshman wide receiver Tyrone Walker. Walker has had a breakout freshman campaign for the Redbirds and has become one of freshman quarterback Matt Brown's favorite targets in the passing game. The Indianapolis, Ind., native ranks second on the team with 36 catches for 478 and ahs hauled in three touchdown passes on the season. He needs just 52 yards against the Panthers to break Kevett Mickle's school record of 529 receiving yards in a season by a freshman.
Schooner's is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner Grove and Clinton Street. If the show can't be seen live, it is available on WJBC-AM 1230, or GoRedbirds.com.
