Time, Place Changed For Final Brock Spack Show

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State football head coach Brock Spack will move his weekly radio show to the Legends Room at Redbird Arena for the final broadcast of the year, Thursday, Nov. 17, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on WJBC AM-1230 and FM 93.7.
The weekly show, which normally takes place at 6 p.m. each Thursday at Schooners in Bloomington, was moved to the Legends Room inside Redbird Arena to coincide with the Illinois State men's basketball game against SIU-Edwardsville, which will be broadcast live on WJBC beginning at 7 p.m. The show will be open to Legends Room pass holders only and will we be on the air for an hour until 6:30 p.m.
Coach Spack and player guests Josh Howe and Cliffton Gordon will join co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz during the show to talk about No. 14 Illinois State's upcoming game against No. 4 ranked Northern Iowa, Saturday, at Hancock Stadium beginning at 11 a.m., which kicks off a busy day for ISU athletics.
The "Day with the Redbirds" begins with the football game against the Panthers and continues at 4 p.m., when the Redbird men's basketball team hosts Lipscomb in the second game of the 2011 Cancun Challenge. The night wraps up with a 7:30 p.m. volleyball match between Illinois State and Missouri State, also the regular-season finale.
Illinois State football maintained its position at No. 14 in the nation according to The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS Top 25 Poll released Monday, but moved up two spots into a tie at No. 14 in the FCS Coaches Poll. ISU (7-3, 5-2 Missouri Valley Football Conference) has now been ranked in The Sports Network/Fathead.com poll for four-consecutive weeks and has its highest ranking since 2007, when it was also ranked No. 14 on Sept. 17. ISU moved up two spots in the FCS Coaches Poll with 291 points, tying the Redbirds with Harvard at No. 14.
