Illinois State head football coach Denver Johnson met with members of the media Tuesday afternoon to discuss his team's 1:05 p.m. Saturday matchup against Western Illinois in Macomb, Ill., as well as recap the Redbirds' 52-21 loss at South Dakota State last Saturday.
Prior to Johnson's media conference, offensive lineman Dane Zumbahlen and safety Tom Nelson also met with the media during a joint media conference.
