NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State football head coach Brock Spack will talk about his team's preparations during the bye week for No. 5 Northern Iowa on Nov. 19 and give his insights on last weekend's big victory at Western Illinois on the Brock Spack Show, live from Schooners, Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Winners of their last five games, the Redbirds moved up three more spots to No. 14 in the nation according to The Sports Network/ FCS Top 25 Poll released Monday. The Redbirds also improved eight spots in the FCS Coaches Poll, up to No. 16, after beating Western Illinois, 31-7, at Hancock Stadium last Saturday.

ISU (7-3, 5-2 Missouri Valley Football Conference) has now been ranked in The Sports Network/ poll for three-consecutive weeks and has its highest ranking since 2007, when it was also ranked No. 14 on Sept. 17. The Redbirds garnered 1,665 points in The Sports Network/ poll this week, and earned 203 points in the FCS Coaches Poll to earn a national ranking for the second-straight week.

Co-hosts Eric Stock and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and will also welcome senior offensive lineman Milton Owens to the show to get his thoughts on how the season has progressed and ISU's big game against UNI next weekend. A native of Gary, Ind., Owens has played in nine of the team's 10 games this season and started the last seven in a row at right tackle. Owens is a vital part of the all-senior offensive line that has allowed the Redbirds to rush for 186 yards per game on the ground and that has allowed just six sacks all season, which ranks the unit No. 4 in the country.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. If you can't make it out to Schooners, the show will be broadcast on WJBC AM-1230 and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities and on Your online source for Illinois State Athletics, tickets, Weisbecker Scholarship gifts, multimedia, Redbird merchandise, photos and more.
