Come To The Brock Spack Show Tonight At Schooners
Nov. 8, 2012
NORMAL, Ill. - The No. 15 Illinois State football team is enjoying some much-needed rest during its bye week, but a tough game against No. 1 North Dakota State lies in wait for the Redbirds next weekend. ISU football head coach Brock Spack will recap last week's victory against Indiana State and look ahead to the big game against the Bison at The Brock Spack Show live from Schooners Thursday night beginning at 6 p.m.
Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and get his thoughts on his team's 17-10 win last Saturday against the Sycamores. With the victory, the Redbirds improved to 8-2 on the season and finished the regular season a perfect 5-0 away from home.
The show will also feature junior strong safety Ezra Thompson as the player guest. Thompson has started all 10 games at safety for the Redbirds, after transferring from Colorado State prior to spring practice. The Tinley Park, Ill., native has recorded 34 tackles on the season and has one interception to his credit. Thompson is also credited two pass breakups, two quarterback hurries and fumble recovery.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC AM-1230 and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities and on GoRedbirds.com.
