Come To The Brock Spack Show Tonight At Schooners
Sept. 13, 2012
NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football team is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 1999, following its win at Eastern Michigan last Saturday. ISU head coach Brock Spack will break down that historic win and will preview this weekend's game at The Brock Spack Show, which is held live each Thursday throughout the season from 6-7 p.m., at Schooners in Bloomington, Ill.
Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and get his thoughts on Saturday's 31-14 victory at Rynearson Stadium against the Eagles. The crew will also preview this weekend's matchup against Eastern Illinois in the 101st Mid-America Classic to be held at Hancock Stadium, Saturday at 1 p.m.
The show will also feature senior center Pete Cary as the player guest. Cary will offer his thoughts on the game against the Eagles and the rivalry with the Panthers. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native is the lone senior on the new-look Redbird offensive line, which has only allowed one sack and led the way for back-to-back 100-plus yard rushing performances from running back Darrelynn Dunn.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC AM-1230 and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities and on GoRedbirds.com.
