NORMAL, Ill. - Just two days before the Illinois State football team returns to the field to kick off the 2013 season, Redbird head coach Brock Spack will sit down for the first installment of The Brock Spack Show live from Schooners on WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM Tuesday night at 6 p.m.

The weekly show, which normally airs on Thursday evenings, was moved up due to the team's opener this Thursday night against Mid-American Conference foe Ball State. That game is set to hit the airwaves beginning at 5 p.m., with the pre-game show on the WJBC Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network. All of the remaining broadcasts of The Brock Spack Show for the remainder of the season will air at 6 p.m., Thursday evenings beginning at 6 p.m.

Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and get his thoughts on a tough Ball State team that was picked to win the MAC West Division title and features several national player of the year candidates at various positions.

The show will also feature junior quarterback Jared Barnett, who won the starting quarterback spot after competing for the role all throughout the spring and fall workouts. The junior transfer from Iowa State is in his first season with the Redbirds, and over the past two seasons, Barnett started nine games for the Cyclones and led them to victories over No. 19 Texas Tech, Kansas and No. 2 Oklahoma State.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities, on GoRedbirds.com and on the iHeart Radio app for smartphones.
