NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football team is just one week away from reporting to campus for the start of fall camp in preparation for the 2010 season and once again, fans will have an inside look into the practices courtesy of the Redbird Football Fall Camp Central page on GoRedbirds.com.

Beginning Friday, August 6, when players report to camp for the Redbirds, Redbird Football Fall Camp Central will provide daily updates from training camp as the Redbirds prepare for the season-opener September 2 at home against Central Missouri State.

The Redbirds will hold their first workout Saturday, August 7, at 3 p.m. and the team's annual media day will be held Monday, August 9, at Hancock Stadium. Fans wishing to be a part of media day can do so by logging on to a live blog and video chat and asking questions of selected Redbird players as they get their pictures taken and interviewed by local media throughout the morning. Head coach Brock Spack will also hold a press conference at 11 a.m., which will be streamed live on GoRedbirds.com.

In addition to daily recaps of each practice, Redbird Football Fall Camp Central will archive interviews and features with Redbird coaches and student athletes and will post photo galleries from selected practices throughout the two-week session. Fall training camp will conclude Saturday, August 21, with the annual Passages Scrimmage at 7 p.m. inside Hancock Stadium, following a fun-filled day at the Redbird Fan Fair.
