2009: Named the team's starting quarterback out of fall camp ... started his first career game in the season-opener at Eastern Illinois (Sept. 3) ... set a new ISU single-game record for completion percentage (.909) with a 20-for-22 effort against the Panthers ... threw for 140 yards and a touchdown against EIU before suffering a season-ending thumb injury on his throwing hand.
