Red Alert Offers Bus Trip to Dayton For All ISU Students

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State students wanting to attend the Redbird men’s basketball game vs. the Dayton Flyers, but need a way to the game, can hitch a ride on Dec. 19, with Illinois State Athletics as part of a bus and ticket package offered by the athletics department. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. CT. The bus is being provided compliments of Elegant Limousine in Bloomington. 

Interested students should visit the Illinois State Ticket Office located at the North entrance of Redbird Arena, or purchase by phone at (309) 438-8000 during regular business hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets for the event are only $20 per person with a valid Illinois State student ID. Only 50 seats are available and will be sold on a first come first serve basis, a minimum of 30 seats must be sold for the trip to take place. Payment is due at the time of purchase and includes the cost of the ticket and bus transportation.

The bus will depart Wednesday, Dec. 19, at noon from the Ropp Agricultural Building parking lot near the Kaufman Football Building, on the west side of Main Street. The bus will return to ISU’s campus following the conclusion of the game.
