Men's Basketball Banquet Tickets On Sale

NORMAL, Ill. - Tickets for the 2008 Illinois State men's basketball banquet, to be held April 11 at Redbird Arena, are now on sale through the ISU men's basketball office. Banquet tickets are $25. The program, which begins at 6:30 p.m., includes a dinner and video montage that recognizes the successes of the 2007-08 campaign and pays tribute to the five-member senior class. To purchase tickets, contact Illinois State men's basketball secretary Sue Gerike at (309) 438-8681, or e-mail her at sjgerik@ilstu.edu. Checks should be made payable to Illinois State Athletics, and all major credit cards are also accepted. The Redbirds finished the 2007-08 season with a school-record tying 25 wins, and advanced to both the championship game of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and the second-round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
