January 28, 2013
NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State men’s basketball team will turn back the clocks at Redbird Arena Saturday, Feb. 2, when it hosts Retro Night, presented by Prenzler Outdoor, as the ‘Birds welcome Southern Illinois to campus. Retro Night will start at the 3:05 p.m. tip off, following the 10th annual Taste of Redbirds in Horton Field House.
In honor of the special event, the team will be sporting replica jerseys from a previous season, as a nod to the historic past of Redbird basketball. During halftime, past Illinois State men’s basketball players will be recognized on-court dating back to teams from the 1950s. The retro uniforms will not be revealed until game time, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

See you there!"
