2009-10: Received the 2009-10 James Collie Endowed Scholarship in June 2009.

2008-09: Played in all 34 games with 33 starting assignments • Named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Defensive Team • Led the Valley in offensive rebounds (101) and field goal percentage (.618) • Led the team in rebounding with 7.5 rebounds per game • Scored a tip-in basket with 22 seconds remaining in overtime for a game-winner over Southern Illinois (Feb. 4) • Collected two double-doubles on the season, including in the season finale at Kansas State in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) with 13 points and 12 rebounds • Grabbed a career-best 13 rebounds three times during the season • Averaged 9.4 rebounds per game over the last five games of the season • Earned second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete honors • Received the 2008-09 James Collie Endowed Scholarship in June 2008.

Prior to Illinois State: During the summer of 2005, competed for the Nigerian National Team at the FIBA U21 World Championships in Mar Del Plata, Argentina • Ranked third on the Nigerian squad in scoring (7.8 ppg.), first in rebounding (6.2 rpg.), fourth in assists and second in steals • In the six games, he shot 48.6 percent from the field, while logging 158 minutes • The tournament marked the first time a Nigerian team ever qualified for the world championships and the squad finished a surprising ninth out of 12 teams • Posted his best overall game against eventual gold medal winner, Lithuania, with 14 points on 4-for-5 shooting and eight rebounds • Also poured in 14 points and grabbed six boards against Puerto Rico • Has been playing organized basketball for only six years.
