Kerry Darting became Illinois State's Director of Basketball Operations prior to the 2007-08 season. In addition to his game-day responsibilities, Darting serves as the liaison to the Karin Bone Athletics Study Center, while also overseeing community service and tape exchange. Before Illinois State, Darting was a part of the Missouri-Rolla men's basketball program for six seasons. He spent the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons as an assistant coach after serving as a student-assistant coach during the 2004-05 campaign. Prior to that, Darting was a three-year letterman, and one of the top three-point shooters for the Miners. He earned his bachelor's degree from Missouri-Rolla in 2004. |
