Named to the Valley All-Freshman Team, first Redbird since Osiris Eldridge in 2006-07 to be named to the squad • Set the then-Illinois State freshman standard for blocked shots in a season with 46 • Swatted a career-best six blocks against Indiana State (Feb. 24) • Named Valley Newcomer of the Week for Jan. 15, after posting 20 points at Evansville (Jan. 6) on 7-for-9 shooting • Shot a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor at Missouri State (Jan. 1) and finished with a team-high 14 points • Posted two double-doubles on the season, including a career-best 13 rebounds against Niagara (Dec. 13) to go along with 11 points • Posted eight double-digit scoring games on the season • Ranked third on the team in rebounding with 4.1 boards per game and fourth on the squad in scoring with 6.8 points per contest • Finished runner-up in the team's slam dunk competition at Redbird Hoopfest, which officially began the 2009-10 season.
