Illinois State baseball coach Mark Kingston and Redbird softball coach Melinda Fischer met with members of the media Tuesday to discuss the 2011 season. ISU baseball players Ryan Court and Kevin Tokarski, and softball players Kara Nelson and Abby Olson also fielded questions.
The Redbird baseball team, picked to finish first in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, begins the 2011 campaign Feb. 18-20 at Belmont in Nashville, Tenn. The ISU softball team, off to a 4-1 start, continues play in Tempe, Ariz., Feb. 18-20, at the Littlewood Classic.
