The Illinois State baseball team beat Maine, 7-1, Mar. 9, 2012 at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

2011: Started 16 of 27 games played ... hit .220 with 12 runs and three RBI ... legged out three doubles and hit one home run ... amassed a .313 on-base percentage and was 2-for-2 in stolen bases ... had three multiple-hit games ... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a stolen base and a walk versus SIU Edwardsville (3/16) ... was 2-for-2 with two runs scored against Chicago State (4/1) ... went 1-for-1 with a home run, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored against Evansville (5/20).

2010:
Started 41 of 44 games played, usually at shortstop ... hit .276 with 15 RBI and 33 runs scored ... collected multiple hits in 11 games and multiple RBI in four games ... went on a career-best eight-game hitting streak (5/1-5/16) ... successfully stole 10 bases in 14 attempts ... became the third player in Illinois State baseball history to be named to an NCAA Regional All-Tournament team, when he represented the Redbirds on the 2010 All-Louisville Regional Team ... went 4-for-11 in the NCAA Tournament with two runs scored and a RBI (6/4-6/6) ... hit 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run and a stolen base at Creighton (4/11) ... hit a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored against Southern Illinois (4/17) ... went 3-for-3 again with one run scored versus Wichita State (5/2).

Three-year starter in baseball ... batted .467 with more than 30 runs scored as a senior ... one of the fastest infielders in the state of Illinois, he swiped 20 bases and legged out eight triples ... earned team MVP honors as well as all-area and All-East Suburban Catholic Conference recognition ... hit .400 and scored 32 runs as a junior ... also a perfect 23-for-23 on stolen base attempts ... earned all-area and All-ESCC honors ... batted .369 as a sophomore and was named the team's defensive player of the year ... honor roll all four semesters of senior year.
