NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State men's and No. 25-ranked women's track & field teams head to Madison, Wis., to compete in the Wisconsin Elite Invitational at the camp Randall Memorial Sports Center (The Shell) this weekend.

The meet starts Friday at 1 p.m., with the men's pentathlon, followed by an exhibition discus event at 5 p.m. The Redbirds will toe the line against Wisconsin, Northern Iowa, Northern Michigan, Southeast Missouri State and Wisconsin-Whitewater. Saturday's events begin in the field at 11 a.m., with action on the track to follow at 11:30 a.m.

Coming off a 4:21.30 mile performance a week ago, freshman Tyler Morse will be the lone sole on the men's side to compete in the 3,000-meter run.
