Walk Of Champions: The Walk Of Champions is used as a freshmen orientation to the athletic department, where new student-athletes are taken on a torch lit tour of the campus and told the history of Illinois State and the various roles that athletics has played in the development of ISU.
The Reggies Sponsored by State Farm: The Reggies is an annual event that recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of Illinois State student-athletes. Student-athletes that have achieved a 3.0 or higher grade-point average during one of the previous two semesters, are invited to participate in this prestigious affair. Additionally, awards are given recognizing collegiality, perseverance and leadership. The highlight award recognizes the male and female scholar-athletes of the year.
AFNI Honor Roll: The AFNI Honor Roll is a distinction for student-athletes that have earned a 3.0 or greater GPA during the spring and fall semesters. Honors are also given to teams that achieve the highest GPA over the course of a semester. In a ceremony held during half time of a men's basketball game. All the honor roll student-athletes and teams are brought down to center court to be recognized. Illinois State has consistently managed to place nearly half of its student-athlete population on the honor roll. Our student-athletes continually excel in both athletic and academic pursuits.
Senior Banquet: The Senior Banquet marks the culmination of a student-athletes’ career at Illinois State. This event is held a few weeks prior to graduation and is open to family and friends of graduating seniors.
