2017-18
Was named the MVC Newcomer of the Year, and to the All-MVC First Team • Led the Redbirds in points (!6.6) and assists (152), and second on the team in rebounding (6.6) • Was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team • He was one of just three players last season with at least 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 150 assists, and just one of 39 since 1992-93 to accomplish the feat • His average stats had him as one of just 12 student-athletes since 1992-93 to average 16.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, and included in the other 12 includes Penny Hardaway, Evan Turner, Denzel Valentine, Grant Hill, Bob Sura, and Jason Kidd • Scored in double-figures 26 times during the season, including 13 games of 20+ points • Played in 32 games during the season, starting 28 times • His 156 free throws made stand as the fifth-highest single-season total in program history, while his 194 attempts are the ninth-highest total in school history • His 152 assists on the year rank 12th in a season in Illinois State history • In his Illinois State debut he nearly had a triple double with eight points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists • Scored 18 points against South Carolina on Nov. 16 • Scored 18 points with eight rebounds in the team's win against Tulsa on Nov. 19 • Scored 14 points in 10 minutes at Nevada on Nov. 19 before leaving the game with injury • Scored a then-season-high 22 points at home against Tulsa on Dec. 2 • Scored 30 points at home against Murray State on Dec. 9, making 10-of-19 shots from the field • Scored 25 points at Ole Miss on Dec. 16 with 10 rebounds for the first double-double of the season, and narrowly missed a triple double with eight assists in the game • Scored 20 points at hme against UIC on Dec. 19, and 28 points at Evansville on Dec. 23, making all nine of his free throw tries • Reached the 20+ point plateau for the fifth consecutive game at home against Indiana State on Dec. 31 to go with 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the year • Scored 23 points at home against Missouri State on Jan. 7 • Had a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double against Bradley on Jan. 17 where he made 12-of-12 shots from the free throw line, the 33rd-best single-game performance in the country last season • Scored 20 points and pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds on Jan. 24 at UNI • Scored 25 points at Bradley on Feb. 14 • Scored 25 points for the second straight game on Feb. 17 against UNI, while adding nine assists • Scored 22 points at home against Drake, while pulling down 10 rebounds for the double-double • Scored 24 points against Indiana State in the MVC Tournament opener on Mar. 2.

Prior to Illinois State
Played in 27 games, with two starts, as a sophomore at Saint Louis in 2015-16 • Averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game • Shot 74-for-187 (39.6 percent) from the field, 15-for-42 (35.7 percent) from beyond the arc and 46-for-77 (59.7 percent) at the free throw line • Also collected 38 assists, 11 steals and seven blocks during his sophomore campaign • As a Billiken freshman in 2014-15, named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team and was one of five freshmen nationally who led his team in both scoring and rebounding • Appeared in all 32 games, with 22 starts, and registered 10 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while dishing out 47 assists, recording 20 steals and registering 12 blocks • Led Saint Louis in scoring in nine games and was the Billikens’ leading rebounder on 13 occasions • Shot 129-for-274 (47.1 percent) from the field as a freshman • Was a four-year starter at Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago • Collected more than 2,600 points, making him the all-time leading boy’s basketball scorer in Lake County history • Averaged 25.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 rebounds as a senior for the Zee-Bees, who posted a 26-4 record • A News-Gazette All-State First Team selection and an Associated Press and Chicago Tribune All-State Second-Team honoree • Registered all-conference honors all four years of high school and was a three-time Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) All-State selection.
