MISSION STATEMENT
The Illinois State Sports Performance program is founded on the core principles of performance enhancement and injury prevention through an approach that places the student-athlete’s growth and development as a priority. In establishing these principles, we seek to help student-athletes and our sport programs achieve at the highest levels possible; specifically, focusing on winning conference and NCAA Division I championships.
These principles have been developed through a three-step approach, which calls on the strength and conditioning coach to control the design, implementation and evaluation of training protocols for each sport program and its student-athletes.
