How do I get tickets for the game?
The best way to order tickets is online at Goredbirds.com or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 309-438-8000. If you access the Tickets page on Goredbirds.com you can “Select Your Seat” to determine the best seat available and even print the ticket at home to bring with you to the game.
Where is will call?
Public and media will call is located at the ticket office on the east side of the stadium. ISU coaches’ guests will also be at the ticket office on the east side. ISU players’ guests and recruits will be located on the east side of the stadium next to (south of) the ticket windows. Visiting team will call will be located at a table inside Gate 4 (northwest side of the stadium). Student-athletes will need to enter at Gate 1 (southwest side of the stadium).
What is the difference between reserved seating and general admission?
Reserved seating is when the customer has an exact section, row, and seat number. Reserved seating is available in sections 101-108 and section 124.
General Admission seating is when you can sit anyone within a section(s) (no assigned seat). General Admission seating is available in sections 125 & 126.
The student section is also general admission. Student sections are 121-123.
When does the ticket office open on game day?
The ticket office at Gate 1, Gate 4, and the east ticket windows will open 4 hours prior to kick-off. Student-athlete, visiting team will call, and the player guest/recruit area will open 1 hour prior to kick-off. The ticket office at Redbird Arena will not be open.
How can I get in the stadium?
Gates to Hancock Stadium open 60 minutes prior to the game, and fans may enter at any gate. The East Gate is located on the new east-side grandstand on either side of the ticket office. On the west-side grandstand, Gate 1 is located at the south entrance and Gate 4 is located at the north entrance.
If someone lost or forgot his/her ticket(s), where does he/she need to go?
If a student lost his/her ticket, send him/her to Gate 1. Anyone else that loses a ticket, send him/her to the east ticket windows.
Where should I park?
Public parking is available for just $10 in several areas near Hancock Stadium on game day. If you’re coming from the north, Lot S103 is located off of Main St. just 2 blocks north of the stadium. If you’re coming from the south, Lots F43 and G53 are located off of Main St. and College Ave, respectively. Additionally, parking is available near the baseball/softball/soccer fields (U91 and G81) as well as G82 west of the track and F71 south of Tri Towers. All lots open at 7am on game day.
Can I tailgate?
Tailgating is permitted in all donor and public lots on game day. We encourage all of our fans to arrive early, wear red and enjoy the game day atmosphere tailgate in a responsible manner prior to all home football games. Glass bottles, kegs and drinking games are prohibited. Please make sure to tailgate inside the red lines to allow for emergency vehicles to access the lot, and please dispose of charcoal in the appropriate receptacles located in each parking lot.
When do lots open?
Lots open at 7:00am on game day. Any unattended vehicles parked from midnight to 7:00am or in line leading to a parking lot are subject to ticketing or will be towed. All tailgating must end by 1.5 hours post game.
