Redbird Football vs. Iowa Watch Party Locations

NORMAL, Ill. – For the first time since 2010, the Illinois State football team will play a Big Ten Conference opponent, when the Redbirds open the 2015 season at Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 5.  The game will be broadcast live on The Big Ten Network, and Redbird fans have several locations to choose from to watch with fellow ISU supporters on game day.

Illinois State, ranked No. 2 in the country, will open the season against the Hawkeyes looking to get off on the right foot.  The 2014 season was a historic one for the Redbirds, as they won a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference title and advanced to the FCS National Championship game for the first time in school history.

Throughout the playoff run, watch parties were held all across the country and some were even held internationally as well.  Redbird fans gathered together to #BackTheBirds and will have an opportunity to do so again to start the new season. Fans are encouraged to send photos from the watch parties to @RedbirdFB via Twitter and show their Redbird pride.
