Mark Steiner worked as a graduate assistant in sales, until becoming the assistant director of corporate partnerships in 2012. Steiner will work with the director of corporate partnerships in monitoring and solicitation of new corporate partners for the Illinois State Athletics Department.
As a graduate assistant, Steiner received his master's degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports management. Prior to joining Illinois State, Steiner attended Illinois Wesleyan where he received his undergraduate degree in business administration.
While attending ISU, Steiner contributed to raising funds through ticket sales and donations by increasing the overall ticket revenue generated for football and men's basketball through group ticket and season ticket sales. Steiner also developed fan experience packages to enhance Reggie's Kids Club and assisted with the construction of the sales piece utilized to enhance the sales of premium seating for the Hancock Stadium renovation.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Steiner currently resides in Normal, Ill.
