Zachary Schroeder

Zachary Schroeder joined Illinois State in May of 2012 as a graduate assistant in marketing and promotions. Schroeder's primary role will be serving as ISU's Reggie Redbird mascot handler, while also providing assistance for game day coverage.
At Illinois State, Schroeder will work towards a Master's degree in Sports Management. Prior to joining ISU, Schroder received his undergraduate degree in sport and recreation leadership from North Dakota State. As an undergraduate, Schroeder worked as a marketing intern for the athletic department where he assisted with game day operations and coordinated high school events for each sport.
While interning in the North Dakota State athletics department, Schroeder also worked as a tele-student for the university office of admissions, where he assisted with departmental social media efforts and served as an admissions guide from 2008 until May of 2012. He later became a student-manager in 2011.
Schroeder has also interned with the St. Cloud River Bats and American Junior Golf Association.
