Ryan Swenson is serving in his first year as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Before coming to ISU, Swenson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from North Dakota State University in August of 2012. During his undergraduate education, Ryan was a member of the track & field team. He also completed a summer internship with North Dakota State University Strength and Conditioning in 2012, where he assisted with incoming freshman and returning football along with women's basketball. Following undergrad, Ryan was a graduate volunteer with University of North Dakota Strength and Conditioning, where he assisted with football and swimming and diving during the 2012-2013 academic year. While at UND, Ryan also served as a course instructor for the university. Ryan is currently pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.
A native of Breckenridge, Minn., Swenson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
