Luke Wing became a graduate assistant for the Karin L. Bone Athletics Study Center during the summer of 2013, after graduating from Illinois State in May. Wing will work with track & field, cross country, soccer and swimming and diving.
Most recently, Wing was a freelance staff member for Intersport, where he worked with clients from Fortune 500 companies and was involved in marketing products for various clients. Wing worked specifically with the Cadillac Golf Clinics and MLB All-Star FanFest.
Wing also spent time working at Heartland Community College, where he was a manager of the Fitness and Recreation Center, while working as an intern for the Director of Athletics. While working with the Director of Athletics, Wing was responsible for designing and programming fundraising events. He also worked with student-athletes regarding scheduling and eligibility, and communicated with coaches about travel arrangements.
ing graduated from ISU with cum laude honors. Before transferring to ISU, Wing went to Illinois Wesleyan for year, where he played baseball for a season.
