Ryan Hoffman

Ryan Hoffman serves as a graduate assistant for the Karin L. Bone Athletic Study Center. Hoffman primarily works with technology concerns for the athletics study center, along with assisting in student-athlete targeting.

As a student-athlete, Hoffman received his bachelor's degree in business management in May of 2005 from Illinois State. During his undergraduate time at ISU, Hoffman was a member of the Redbird football team. With the Redbirds (2001-05), Hoffman was a four-year letterwinner and set the all-time school record for career punting average at 42.17 yards-per-punt. He also ranks fourth in career punting yards (7,843) and fifth in career punt attempts (186). Hoffman was recognized as a First-Team All-American in 2005 by The SportsExchange and was named to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference squad three times in his career. Following his senior season in 2005, Hoffman was invited to the prestigious Hula Bowl in Hawaii and was named the game's Special Teams MVP.

After gaining his bachelor's degree, Hoffman gained certification in property and casualty insurance, along with life and health insurance. He utilized these certifications while working for State Farm Insurance from 2007 to 2011, in insurance sales and later personal lines underwriting.

Hoffman currently resides in Normal, Ill.
